【摘要】:Thescopeincludesonlycranesthatarearticulatedbyhydrauliccylinders,poweredbyinternalcombustionenginesorelectricmotorsandthataremountedonamobilechassisorstationaryinstallation.ArticulatingcranesequippedwithaloadhoistmechanismtobroadentheirversatilityarecoveredbythisVolume.Somebasicmachinetypeswithinthisscopeareconvertibleforexcavatingworkandotherusesnotconsideredtobeliftingservice.TherequirementsofthisVolumeareapplicableonlytosuchmachineswhenusedasliftingcranes.ExemptionsfromthisVolumeinclude(a)allunitswithamaximumratedcapacityof2000pounds(907kg)orless(b)allunitswithboomsconstructedofnonconductive-typematerials(c)allunitsequippedwithordesignedprimarilyforpersonnelbaskets,platforms,ladders,etc.(d)allunitswhenequippedwithnonliftingattachments(e)allunitswhileusedinforestryandloggingapplications(f)telescopingboomcranesthatdonotarticulate(coveredunderB30.5)(g)scrapandmaterialhandlersasdefinedinASMEB30.25.
