【摘要】:Thistestmethod,alsoknownastheCommercialKitchenVentilation(CKV)EnergyBalanceProtocol(EBP),coverstheoverallperformanceevaluationofexhausthoodswithcommercialcookingappliancesandassociatedreplacementairconfiguration.Thistestmethodaddressesexhaust-onlyhoodspositionedadjacenttoawallandappliancesthatsupplyairdistributionasanintegratedsystem.Inparticular,itincludesthefollowing:Measurementandcalculationofapplianceenergyinputs,energyexhausted,energytofood,andheatgaintothespaceadjacenttothehoodbasedonasystemenergybalance;Characterizationofcaptureandcontainmentperformanceoftestedhood,appliance,andreplacementairundercookingandnon-cookingconditions;Calculationofassociatedcoolingloadsfromheatgainstothetestspaceatvariousexhaustrates,whichcanbeusedalongwithotherinformationbyheating,ventilation,airconditioning(HVAC)andexhaustsystemdesignerstoachieveenergy-conservative,integratedkitchenventilationsystemdesigns;andParametricevaluationofoperationalordesignvariationsinappliances,hoods,orsupplyairsystem,thatis,varyingonefactorwhileholdingallotherfactorsconstant.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
