【摘要】:Asacomparativetest,thispracticecanbeusedtodeterminethedamagecausedbycreasingpaper,thatis,damagetopaper,coatingsorimagesaffixedtothepaperandthelossofimagequalityandlegibilitythatcanresultfromcreasing.1.1Thispracticedescribesaprocedureforhardcreasingpaperinauniformandreproduciblemanner.1.2Thecreaseispositionedacrosstheimageandtheamountofimagedegradionisdetermined.1.3Theeffectofcreasingonthepapersurfacecanalsobedetermined.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
